How many guests can your wedding venue accommodate?

250, including the wedding party.

Is there a deposit?  When are the additional payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes. To hold a date we require a $1,000 booking fee at contract signing; however, the booking fee goes towards the balance. The remaining balance will be divided into 3 equal installments due 9 months (first installment), 6 months (second installment) and 90 days (final balance) prior to the event.  You are welcome to send smaller payments and schedule your own payment plan as long as each full installment is met by the specified due dates. We also reserve the right to request a credit card be placed on file for any damages to the facility or grounds.



Are there any additional fees for overtime charges, cleaning, insurance, or security? 

*We’ve worked hard to ensure our contracts allow plenty of time for your event or wedding to be a great success; therefore, we will not allow guests to be on the premises for greater than one hour past the contracted usage time and will charge a $500.00 fee for any overage. For example, if your contract ends at midnight and there are still guests or vendors on the premises at 1:00 a.m. you will be charged $500.00.

*Standard cleaning during the wedding and following the wedding reception will be conducted by the Fountain View Farm staff. We reserve the right to charge a damage/cleaning fee, if necessary, after the wedding.

*Proof of general liability will be required and can be obtained through Wedsafe . Approximate fee is $100-185.



How do I reserve a date?

Once you have checked our calendar and you are ready to reserve a date, please email your preferred date to us at fountainviewfarm@gmail.com. We suggest you include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable.



Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only so that you can be assured that one of our team leaders will be there to inform you about everything our venue has to offer. You can request a tour here.



Where is Fountain View Farm located?

24500 Drivers Rd, Splendora, Texas 77372. You can find directions and a map here.



Does Fountain View Farm have dressing rooms?

Yes, we’ve included a beautiful and spacious bridal suite upstairs with a one way window so that the bride can see her guest as they enter the building. There are 4 make up/hair stations with a private restroom. There is also a custom wine bar attached to the suite.

The groom’s lounge is located downstairs behind the bar and furnished with a comfy couch, pool table, electronic dart board and a big screen TV. The lounge includes a door to the back porch where groomsmen can sit back and relax, head over to the pavilion for games or go fishing in the stocked pond.



Do we have to use your caterers and bar service?

We have a list of vendors we can recommend; however, we have an open vendor policy as long as the vendor of your choice is licensed and insured. If alcohol will be served, we provide in house bar service.

*We just recently added all-inclusive packages as another choice if this is preferred.




Is smoking allowed in the facility?

We are a non-smoking venue but we do have a designated area located outside the facility. We just ask that everyone be respectful and dispose of cigarette/cigar butts in receptacles provided. 




Will there be another wedding the same day?

No, at Fountain View Farm we only host one wedding per day. We want your day to be all about you and your wedding.

 What happens in case of rain?

There will be 2 options for our rain plan inside the reception hall.

  • Plan 1 - Tables can be left decorated and pulled apart enough to make a 6’ wide isle. Guest will remain seated at the tables.

  • Plan 2 - Tables can be moved along the walls and the chairs arranged in rows for ceremony seating.

Are pets allowed at Fountain View Farm?

Absolutely! This will need to be prearranged in advance with Fountain View Farm management and a pet addendum will need to be signed.

How many cars will your parking lot accommodate?

120 vehicles with overflow parking, if needed.



Do you provide tables and chairs? 

Yes, we have 72” round tables and 6 rectangular tables.(2-6ft & 4-8ft) We also have 4 custom farm tables for seating or decor use.(2-6ft & 2-8ft)



 Does Fountain View Farm allow engagement and/or bridal pictures?

Yes, you just have to make arrangements with Fountain View Farm for available times.



Do you provide table linens, chargers, plates, cups, silverware, etc.? 

Fountain View Farm does not provide linens, chargers, plates, cups, or silverware. Most caterers will provide disposable dinnerware & utensils at no extra cost. We can also recommend vendors that you can rent these items if needed.



We plan to have our ceremony offsite, or only plan to have our reception at Fountain View Farm.  Does your fee change?

Because we only host one event per day, our fee remains the same according to the day you reserve, whether you hold your ceremony, reception, or both onsite.



My preferred dates are unavailable. Do you have a cancellation waiting list?

We do not keep a cancellation waiting list because cancellations are unpredictable. As soon as a date becomes available, we will update our dates page.



What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

You will have access to the venue at the time stated in your contract and according to the day you book. There are extra fees if you go over your allotted time. We ask that you plan accordingly.



Do you provide decorations?

We do have a “Something Borrowed Closet.” Our closet is stocked with a variety of popular items that are frequently used. Please check back with us as it gets closer to your date to see what all we have in our inventory.



Do you include a professional "wedding day coordinator or planner?"

We do not provide a wedding day coordinator or planner, but we can give you a few names we recommend. We do have a venue manager available throughout the duration of your special day to assist, help or answer questions as needed.

What time do you suggest we start the ceremony? 

This can be dependent on the time of year your wedding takes place and if you choose to do your wedding inside or outside. During the summer months, if you choose an outside ceremony, we recommend events begin by 5:30-6:30 pm. Keep in mind sunsets make exquisite photo moments.



If we choose the one-day option, will we be able to access the location early to rehearse our ceremony?  

If you elect the one-day rental, our venue most likely will be reserved the night before. For that reason, one day rentals should plan for an offsite rehearsal or morning rehearsal the day of. We also recommend rehearsals at our monthly private open houses for our booked couples.



Can vehicles be left overnight? 

We recommend vehicles are not left overnight; however, we understand there are circumstances where this might happen. Our gates will be locked and will not reopen until 10:00 am the next morning. All vehicles must be removed no later than 10:30 am for the arrival of our guests the next day. Fountain View Farm will not be responsible for vehicles left overnight.



What time does the music need to end? 

All entertainment must be concluded one hour prior to the end of the designated time frame in your contract. For example, if you rent the venue on Saturday from 10:00 am to midnight, all entertainment, including music, must end by 11:00 pm to allow enough time for clean-up, removal of personal items and give all vendors plenty of time to be off the property by midnight.



We are using a rental company for some of our wedding items.  Can they drop off or pick up items outside of the rental period time frame?  

Our gates remain locked and will not open until the agreed-upon rental period. All deliveries must be made during the standard rental period time frame. Please advise your vendors of this policy.



Are candles allowed? 

Open flames and candles are not permitted without prior approval of Fountain View Farm. LED lights are acceptable.



How far in advance do you need our final headcount? 

Final headcount is requested at least two (2) weeks prior to your wedding/event date. If you choose one of our all-inclusive packages, the final headcount is requested 1 month prior to your wedding/event date.



Can we take photos around the property on our wedding day?

Absolutely, we’ve created beautiful landscapes and backdrops for your wedding or engagement photos! However, in the event of bad weather some areas may not be accessible. If this happens, we will guide you in areas that are best for your perfect photo shoot. 



Can we hang decorations on the walls or hang things, like streamers, greenery, or lanterns, from the beams?

All decorations must be approved by Fountain View Farm. The beams are too tall to be reached without using a lift.  All decorations must be removed without causing any damage to the venue (no nails, staples, glue, tape, etc. are allowed.)
